My ESTA was denied and I need to travel immediately

If an ESTA application is denied, and your circumstances does not changed, a new application will be denied again.

You will need to contact the Embassy or Consulate in the country you stay. Unfortunately, the Department of State cannot guarantee next day appointments due to the varying demand for visas.

Information on the appointment process is available at the nearest consular section or on the State Department's website. Therefore, travelers are advised to apply for ESTA approval well in advance of proposed travel.

A travel authorization is valid for two years after the application date or until the passport expiration date whichever happens first.

If you obtain a new passport or change your name, gender or country of citizenship, you will be required to apply for a new travel authorization.

A traveler must apply for a new ESTA when the previous authorization, or the applicant's passport, expires.

If your ESTA has expired, you must reapply by submitting a new application.
